More than a place where to buy and sell old stuff, a good flea market is a social gathering – a place to meet people, to hear stories, to barter and to try out local food. A good flea market is a tradition.
Even during the communist era, when there was very little available to purchase in Krakow, people bought and sold what they could find at flea markets. Today, however, there is a wealth of antiques, collectibles and valuables waiting to be discovered at many of the city’s traditional flea markets.
