Movies.
Poland has got a very distinctive movie culture. Internationally highly renowned directors such as Andrzej Wajda and Roman Polanski are representatives of a country, which had its cinematic beginnings in times of silent movies and became an appearance of art in the second half of the 20th century.
The cinemas mostly present their movies in the original with Polish subtitles. Like in many other countries they divest themselves of synchronization.
In comparison to other countries cinema in Poland is a quite cheap pleasure. So do not leave out a visit to one of the either big complexes or the rather small, atmospheric movie theaters.
