Opened in 1901, the Emeryk Hutten-Czapski Museum is a branch of the National Museum in Krakow. Located in a palace, the museum was founded by the numismatist and collector Count Emeryk Hutten-Czapski.
Today the museum houses an impressive collection of coins and medals including: Polish coins, Polish and foreign bank notes, antique coins, medieval European mintage and holy medals. The collection is not open to the general public but can, upon appointment, be viewed for research purposes.
